  5. about the installation of this software.

  7. 1) Trial Version
  8. This is a 30-day trial version. Any attempt 
  9. to use this software beyond the trial period 
  10. constitutes a copyright infringement.

  12. 2) GIF technology
  13. GIF compression/decompression capability 
  14. included in this software is licensed under 
  15. U.S. Patent No. 4,558,302 and foreign 
  16. counterparts.

  18. 3) Borland Database Engine (BDE)
  19. This installation file will install BDE on 
  20. your system if BDE is not present. You can 
  21. disable BDE installation if you are sure 
  22. that BDE is already installed on your system 
  23. (in this case select Custom Setup). If you
  24. need to reinstall BDE in the future you can 
  25. always download the latest BDE version from 
  26. our home page:

  29. 4) Removing this software from your system
  30.  
  31. a) Windows NT (below version 4.0):
  32. If you want to remove our software from your 
  33. system use Uninstall program that is 
  34. included (see our software folder).

  36. b) Windows 95, 98 and NT 4.0 or higher:
  37. To remove this software from your system 
  38. from the Start Menu select Settings/Control 
  39. Panel. Then double-click on Add/Remove 
  40. Programs. While Install/Unistall Tab is 
  41. selected find the program name in a list box 
  42. and click on it. Finally, click on
  43. Add/Remove button.
