  3. Provide Support for Photo CD Images

  6.   ROCHESTER, N.Y., October 26_Kodak today 
  7. announced the immediate availability of Kodak 
  8. PhotoEdge version 1.0 software for DOS/Windows 
  9. systems, and Kodak Renaissance version 1.1 
  10. software for Macintosh systems, through Merisel 
  11. Inc. and Ingram Micro Inc. distribution channels.

  13.   Kodak PhotoEdge software enables Windows users 
  14. to perform basic image correction and enhancement 
  15. of high-quality Photo CD images, and transfer to 
  16. other image file formats. Kodak PhotoEdge 
  17. software supports Photo CD, TIFF, RIFF, BMP, PCX, 
  18. RAW, and EPS formats for the Windows version. A 
  19. Macintosh version of PhotoEdge software is 
  20. scheduled to ship later this year. Kodak 
  21. PhotoEdge software has a suggested retail price of 
  22. $139.

  24.   Kodak Renaissance software is a Macintosh-based 
  25. color design tool that features native support for 
  26. Photo CD images and other popular image formats, 
  27. such as EPS, TIFF, and PICT. This intuitive page 
  28. layout package provides a tear-away tool box and 
  29. color palette, offering users interactive 
  30. point-and-click access to design elements. Kodak 
  31. Renaissance software has a suggested retail price 
  32. of $695.
