  10. Shooting Gallery v2.2 has only minor changes over previous versions.
  11. Some additional music has been added at various places.  At the end
  12. of the game you now recycle back to the title screen so all game
  13. options (practice, hall of fame, etc.) are again available.  Menu
  14. control itself has improved; you can now jump from option to option
  15. in a more standard manner (i.e., with a help screen up you can select
  16. "play" without first exiting the help screens).  The game also now
  17. checks to make sure you have a mouse; in the past if you started up
  18. with no mouse driver loaded there was no way to exit the game.

  20. Some people with lots of TSR's and other things were running out of
  21. available memory, especially with the new round 7 which uses a lot
  22. more memory than the previous rounds.  The game now attempts to 
  23. determine if enough memory is available before running and gives a
  24. warning if there appears to be too little memory.  In v2.1 this 
  25. warning didn't work quite right but it should be correct now.

  27. Earlier changes:

  29. v2.0 added a new round 7, a wild west shootout.  This is a major new
  30. feature which I think you will like.

  32. There were also some minor bug fixes and the way the game calibrates
  33. itself for your computer's clock speed was changed.  Hopefully the
  34. new system will work better than that in v1.0.

  36. Many people playing v1.0 got "error 202" messages.  This has now been
  37. fixed (actually it was fixed in v1.1).  If you still get this message
  38. or any other error message please let me know, and include as many
  39. details as possible such as what round it occurs in, what you were
  40. doing, your computer type, CPU speed, etc.

  42. If you are upgrading from v1.0 there are two additional features now
  43. available to you that were added in v1.1:

  45. You can turn off the sound with the " -s" command line option.
  46.  
  47. Also, for those few people for which the game plays too fast, there
  48. is another command line option that lets you slow things down.  Use
  49. " -d###" where ### is a number that determines how much to slow things.
