  11.  Help! I can't locate a schematic diagram for my C-128 anywhere. I have Geos,
  12. Spectrum, so I can use a download to the library. Please help me and I will
  13. try to help you and your needs if I can :)

  23.  Though we have them in ASCII format for the C-64, I do not believe we
  24.  have them for the C-128.  Download the index file for library #33 and
  25.  look for the "digital doc" BB archives.  Also look at the files <#1000
  26.  and uploads by "DEB" which contain memory and chip locations (U##).

  39. reference guide for the 128.

  45.  As an updated reply, the SAMS Repair book has them along with the
  46.  (expensive) Commodore repair manual from Grapevine.

  59.   `Troubleshooting and Repairing Your Commodore 128' by Art Margolis
  60.   Copyright (c) 1989 TAB BOOKS Inc.
  61.   ISBN 0-8306-9099-9  (Hardcover)  ISBN 0-8306-9399-8 (Paperback)
  62.   May still be available.  A good book for owners of the flat C-128.

  87. My 128 hangs up executing 'If DS...7 while running DesTerm  (Line1120) and
  88. 1571 Demo/Test Disk (Line1050) Autoboot Makers. Works OK if I replace 'IF DS'
  89. with 'INPUT#15,EN:IF EN'.

  106. The RED LED won't come on at any time. Drive will load a program on the disk, 
  107. will run the program and will show DIRECTORY. It passed the "read/write test".
  108. Tracks 1 and 35 OK. Failed the "PERFORMANCE TEST" because it couldn't scratch
  109. files. Got the #21 error. I think something is wrong in the circuitry for the
  110. LED and the items connected with it.  Both voltages are OK from the power
  111. supply.  Can anyone help? THANKS

  144.    I am trying to repair a 1571 drive. My problem is that over the years
  145.  
  146. I broke the top head on my drive. I tried to have it repaired but was told 
  147. that what I had broken was unrepairable. I have a hairline crack in the  metal
  148. part that holds the top head. I was told that the only way to fix it was to
  149. get a new drive assembly. They told me it would cost $120 bucks. This is my
  150. question, I know that the drive assembly for the 128d will fit on my 1571. I
  151. need to find a company that sells this part. Can someone help me out with an
  152. address?

  160. What my Dad did when that happened was to take a very thin pencil saudering
  161. iron and attach better strength wires... It's tedious, a royal pain in the
  162. neck but just might work... (it's a butt working with wires that small...)
