  10. Combine multiple geoWrite documents into one.
  11. Combiner is a program to combine multiple geoWrite
  12. +documents into one.
  13. ?The MainMenu options are:
  14.  - Lets you run any desk accessories on the
  15. Sdisk Combiner was loaded from.
  16.  - Quit and return to the deskTop or go to 
  17. ggeoWrite and edit the last output document.
  18. Begin
  19.  - Start the process of combining documents
  20. {(more information to follow).
  21.  - This help series of screens.
  22. After you select BEGIN, you will be presented with a
  23. +window which allows you to:
  24. CREATE
  25.  a new geoWrite output document.
  26. ?(a follow-on window will ask for the document name).
  27.  an existing geoWrite document for output.
  28. S(a follow-on window will present you with the
  29. ]standard filename selection window)
  30. CANCEL
  31.  and return to the MainMenu.
  32. Once the input and output files have been identified,
  33. +you need to tell Combiner how many pages of the
  34. 5input document you want and where to put them    
  35. ?in the output document.  A window allows you to
  36. Ispecify the starting and ending pages (inclusive) to
  37. Stake from the input and the page number to place 
  38. ]those pages after.  Click over the number to move
  39. gthe cursor to that value to change it.
  40. Combiner will combine different versions of geoWrite
  41. +documents.  When you create a new document, the
  42. 5version is determined by the first input document.
  43. ?You can combine a Version 2.1 (from GEOS 2.0 or
  44. IgeoPublish) document with a Version 1.3 (from GEOS
  45. S1.3).  The result can either be a Version 1.3 
  46. ]Version 2.1.  
  47.  though, that Version 1.3 cannot
  48. ghandle some Version 2.x (2.0 or 2.1) options, so
  49. qthese are dropped when combining Version 2.x files
  50. {into a Version 1.3 file.
  51. Graphics included in any of the input pages are
  52. +copied to the output.
  53. 5You cannot copy headers or footers from an input
  54. ?Version 2.x document.
  55. ICombiner will handle either multiple drives, and/or
  56. Sinput and output from different disks.  You will be
  57. ]asked to insert the required disk when it is needed.
  58. gDesk accessories are always loaded from the disk
  59. qwhich was in the drive Combiner was loaded from.
