- I once read, in 64'er a few years ago, about a "multi-processor"
- fractal drawing program for the C64, that used the floppy's processor
- to speed up the calculations ("true" multitasking).
-
- Does anyone know if this program is anywhere to be found?

- Jack, if you had read the original message more attentively you would hav=

-
- Little Red Reader is a C128-only program. Look at the first lines of
- lrr25.doc:
-
- | LITTLE RED READER-128 Version 2.5 [June 3, 1996]
- | ^^^
- | MS-DOS file reader/writer for the C128 and 1571/81/FD drives. ^^^^
- Its BASIC portion is named lrr-128 and even the URLs you mentioned make i=
- t
- clear that it's a C128 program:

- > ftp://ftp.giga.or.at/pub/c64/tools/c128/disk/lrr25.sfx ^^^^
-
- That's why my answer was "Yes. Big Blue Reader 64, sold by CMD." ^^

- Sorry, my mistake. Repeated clubbing to head not necessary.
- Guess I've been using the 128 too long. I rarely seperate the
- two. 64 < 128. 64 NOT =3D 128. Got it.
-
- In a NEW reply, then, may I suggest 'The MS-DOS/C-64 Connection' as
- published by RUN Magazine April, May, and June 1989. The June 1989
- issue has the actual C64 version. Only drawback is the ~30kb
- (120 C=3D blocks) filesize limits. If that is a problem, then it
- might be overcome by something such as the 'splitter' article/prgm
- 'published' in C=3DHacking, Issue 3 (I believe).
-
- Of course, this is only helpful if you can get a back-issue, but it
- seems like.. hmmm.. ah!

-
- There are always folks in here selling thier old Commodore Magazines.
- Not sure if the above is referring to THE _Commodore Magazine_ or if
- it's a generic term. <shrug> Might try one of them. Or does CMD still
- have (ever have?) any RUN back-issues?
