-
- NOTE: The deadline of August 1st has arrived! All items that have
- high bids greater than the Suggested Bid (and a couple where I have
- chosen to accept a bid lower than the Suggested Bid) have been sold,
- and are removed from this list. All other items are still available,
- and any existing bids received are still valid. I will be adding some
- new items shortly, so watch for future updates.
-
- You will be notified via e-mail if you are the high bidder. If you
- change your mind about buying the item(s), then the item(s) will be
- returned to the auction. If you do not respond by 8/15/96, the
- item(s) will be returned to the auction. If an item is returned to
- the auction, all other bids still stand.
-
- - * -
-
- I have been going through all my Commodore stuff that I have collected
- and have compiled this list of items for sale. The format will be a
- public auction. Send all bids to me in electronic mail to
- hermit@bayview.com. I will try to set up a WWW interface to submit
- bids and check on the current highest bid, but for now stick to
- e-mail. I will post progress reports approximately every week to
- report the current bidding status.
-
- RULES OF THE AUCTION
-
- - SUGGESTED BID IS *NOT* A MINIMUM BID; I will accept the highest
- bid over that amount, or if all bids are below it, I *may* choose
- to accept the highest bid. If you think my prices are too high;
- bid anyway, and you might just get it after all. However there is
- a MINIMUM PURCHASE OF $10, just to make it worth my time to
- package and mail. All prices are in US dollars.
- - Bidding runs until SEPTEMBER 1ST, 1996. At that time, all items
- with a high bid that is greater than the suggested bid, and any
- items I elect to sell at the high bid price, will be sold.
- - YOU WILL PAY ALL SHIPPING COSTS. Shipping cost depends on method
- of shipment, weight of what you buy, and your location. If you
- live in or near the San Francisco or Monterey bay areas in
- California (I live in Santa Cruz), we may be able to meet in
- person to transfer the goods. Send me email if you have any
- questions about shipping.
- - Unless otherwise indicated, all equipment has been tested and is
- in GOOD WORKING ORDER. Exceptions to this are noted in
- parentheses. The 1571 and 1541's have all been aligned by me, but
- understand that shipping could misalign them, so check them when
- you receive them. If you don't know how, ask me.
- - Except for problems noted in parentheses below, all items have a
- THIRTY DAY WARRANTY. If anything does not work to your
- satisfaction for ANY REASON within 30 days of your receipt of the
- item(s), send it back to me for a FULL REFUND. *NOTE* Refunds
- will NOT be given on shipping costs in either direction!

- I am working on a BASIC AI demo that I need A maze for.
- I know a few VIC-20 games used the same sort of maze I am looking for
-
- The maze was randomly generated.
- One was caled TRAPMAN ,where you went around the maze gathering
- dots while avoiding the trapman.
-
- an other game I can't think of it's name(escape?), but you started at the
- middle of the maze, and worked your way out. (you were given a 3d view of
- where you were, but could look at an overhead map if you liked.)
-
- If anybody has those 2 games(or just the maze generator) in BASIC (text
- files only, not tokenized basic), and are willing and able to send
- them over the 'net ,Please do. (i'd preferr email)
-
- Thanks

- bull! that tool just checks the time needed to go from tr ? -> tr ? .
- It's just an '00, OK,00,00' after INITing when the time was < then ?
- seconds and it has nothing to do with the alignment/bad transfe of the
- drive.
- when you run that tool a 2nd time it can be busy for 1/2 again.

- Any florescent light strobes at the right speed and works well. Some drives

- Howdy,
-
- I just wanted to find out if anyone here knows who owns the rights to the games
- made by Epyx. This year's olympic games have brought out some memories of c64
- games like summer games and winter games. Those were sooo cool!
-
- If anyone has any info on this, please post it here. And many thanks in

- It's called "d64zipcode.c", and it's written in C source code. I'd

- As an avid user of CBM computers since the late seventies and a major fan of
- the C64 throughout the amazing 80's I am so pleased to have found this
- group.
-
- I have just re-discovered my C64 and forgotten what fun it is! I am
- interested to know how many UK users are on the list and whether there is a
- UK group that meets now and then?
-
- I also wonder how many of you out there I actually already know, be it as a
- mail contact throughout the pirate years, or a US modem contact (first 300
- baud then 1200 to the US via ATnT!). Do any of you guys still use 'handles'
- and are any of the groups, or guys from US groups such as ESI, FBR still
- around? I was in a few groups including DCS (early and late).
-
- I'm also interested in knowing more about C64 and NET access and C64 hard
- drives. Any information on these two would be most appreciated.
-
- Sorry to go on guys, but they were great times!
-
- Cheers,
-
- Gaz...
