  1. Hihi!  I was just wondering how many of you out there use a VIC-20?
  2. Until just a couple weeks ago, I didn't think much of them.  But now that
  3. I have one and have found all sorts of cartridges for 25 cents each for
  4. her, she's turning into an impressive little beast.  Heck, I even have
  5. two disk drives for her, a 1541 and a 1541-2.
  6. Anyone know of an editor-assembler cartridge for Vicki? (my name for her,
  7. Mindi is the name of the 128 sitting on the desk next to her).  I would
  8. really like to program for her and provide support to other VIC users
  9. eventually.
  10.  
  11. One last thing...  Anyone else out there personalize their systems by
  12. naming them?  If so, what do you call your 8-bit beast?

  79. I have to agree with what I have seen here, geoBASIC is the most bug-infested
  80. programming environment I have ever used (and that includes MS Visual BASIC for
  81. DOS).
  82. If you value your sanity, keep your distance from it.  It is, how you say, of
  83. interest only
  84. to entomologists.  On the other hand, there was a list of "workarounds" for
  85. some of the
  86. more outrageous bugs (from Q-Link), and I'm sure I still have it around
  87. somewheres.

  432. I am working on a BASIC AI demo that I need A maze for.
  433. I know a few VIC-20 games used the same sort of maze I am looking for
  434.  
  435. The maze was randomly generated.
  436. One was caled TRAPMAN ,where you went around the maze gathering
  437. dots while avoiding the trapman.
  438.  
  439. an other game I can't think of it's name(escape?), but you started at the
  440. middle of the maze,and worked your way out. (you were given a 3d view of
  441. where you were, but could look at an overhead map if you liked.)

  444. files only,not tokenized basic), and are willing and able to send

  479. look sorta "ultra-futurisic", but in less of a Gil Gerard way and more of

  589. don't
  590. have the pattern on the flywheel (forgive the terminology). Photocopy the one
