Yes they made (to my knowledge) four variates, one for the IBM, APPLE,
C64/C128, and ATARI...  I do believe the interfaces built into each of
these was different and NOT compatable with any of the others...
I have a c64 KOALA PAD and a few years ago was given an APPLE K-PAD
and have had no luck with devising a home made interface...  I even
attempted to find the IC that was used in the c64 interface to build
another from scratch but the chip number is unlisted in all of my
referances- probibly a custom chip that KOALA TECH. made and can not
be purchased anywhere....  So, I don't think you will have much luck
with getting it to work on a c64, but if you find a way, please let me
know...  The only thought I have is look for someone who has a c64=20
K-PAD maybe with a bad (torn/worn) drawling pad (but the interface is
ok) if you could buy it cheep, the actual black "touch-pad" is the same
from one variaty to another so all you would need to do is to swap the
touch-pads and use the c64 K-PAD like that...

Does anyone have info on the Commodore Plus 4 power supply pinouts. I don=

The Plus-4 is 64K.  Indead, it has more available RAM to BASIC than a=20
C-64.  The C-16 was the 16K machine.

Still, though, a Plus-4 cannot run C-64 programs except very generic=20
BASIC.  Memory map is all different.

Many say that is the maledition of the amiga,
others that the amiga has taken the revenge
against what could have killed her (it's female right? ;))
IMHO it's the C=3D logo that have a maledition in it ;)

BTW yes I think the Commodore brand will die with
escom unless (very probably) a company rescue both.
(Microsoft? or even Viscorp?)

Hi,
I=B4d like to connect  the CBM 8032 as an inteligent ACSII terminal with
my PC running  Linux+.=20
The hardware to connect the USER-port  with a serial RS 232 interface
is not the problem,I found solutions in the FAQs , but  I can=B4t find
software for the CBM.
Is there anybody out there who uses the old but vigorous Lady in  a
similar way or can point me to software?

I heard it twice on Business Breakfast on the BBC in the UK

It said they had field for liquidation, then that they had called in the

The plus/4 is 64k however the basic is closer to 128 basic than 64 basic.
Some 128 basic programs without pokes and peeks will run on the PLUS/4.

I have uploaded a couple of hundred programs for the PLUS/4 to both
ccnga.uwaterloo.ca and ftp.funet.fi

The difference is that the software you are trying to crack is still=20
being supported by a programmer that probably reads this newsgroup.  Not=20
some old worthless game that can be bought at any thrift store for  10 ce=
nts.

Consider yerself flamed.

A side note on the  issue of the dongle...  everybody who buys CKIT=20
knows  (and if they don't then they should)  that the program is=20
protected by a dongle.  This is the main reason I won't buy it.  Lot's of=
=20
people do not like using dongles.  I still believe that if you are a=20
registered user of the program then the author would gladly send you=20
another dongle for a nominal fee.  That certainly  sounds fair to me.

I'd like some assistance with Qterm.  I have been meaning to try and=20
figure out how to use this program for quite some time.  I have had=20
trouble figuring out how to print the documentation to printer.  Using=20
Qterm is as far as I can make out the only way the I may be able to=20
download CP/M files, that is, get CP/M stuff onto CP/M disks.

So today I made another stab at trying to read the docs on screen, and I=20
tried Qterm out again.

Over the past while I have managed to figure out how to log onto my=20
account using Qterm.

Today I tried Qterm out again and encountered the following problems. =20
Once I am logged in, I get some strange colors on screen.  So when I am=20
using various Unix programs, text seems to flip between two colors at odd=
=20
times.

Screens are not displayed quite right.  I think I only noticed this when=20
using Lynx so far.  I also get various capital B's appearing on screen=20
when using Lynx for some reason.

Another big problem is that none of the cursor keys work.  Whether I am=20
using Pine, or Lynx, the cursor keys give strange results.

I do have Qterm set for VT100 emulation.

The program is set for 2400 bps.

(you know, disk full errors :> ).
Anyway, Escom sinked down due to mass bought of shops (expecially in UK, =
where
it became the first PC seller in one day) and because of the prices war i=
n the
PC world, expecially now that IBM, Compaq & Co. have lowered prices.

Is the PC dead? :D

I have read it in the dutch newspapers. Monday we have maybe more news.
BTW Escom in the Netherlands is making a profit, and Escoms largest
competitor the also german VOBIS maybe want to take over some Escom
shops in the Netherlands. (Escom in the Netherlands is still open at this=
=20
moment).

I remember a few years ago, I played a C64 version of Pengo. It wasn't
until the moment I read this post that I noticed the connection (I
heard the song a couple of months ago, on KJR-Seattle.) The C-64
version was kind of weak, or rather, deeper than the real version.

You know, I really think we are going to have to do a group short story
about some of the people that we are attracting lately.  Anybody
