- I've recently acquired a c-16 for =A35 and have started collecting games=20
- for it...does anyone know if theres a games list anywhere?
- I was tempted to buy a plus 4 but i believe that while plus 4 software
- will work on a c-16, the reverse is not true...so is there any point in
- owning one?

- Hi there.
-
- FYI, my all time best finish on MULE was 42,250 for Money,8550 for
- Land, and 4,250 for goods. Overall, the Colony finished above
- 120,000 (128,000+)
-
- Has anyone ever done better in a One player game (w/ 3 computer
- players?)
-
- I had 10 crystite plots, 3 food, and 4 energy
-
- I haven't kept track exactly, but I don't think I've ever done quite
- that well. I usually try to keep the computer players down as well as
- building myself up, so my best overall I think was about 100,000. I'm
- always looking for other humans to play, since the computer players
- really aren't that smart. (I have a dream... Network Mule!)

- Yea, it seems I didn't proof read that- I was quite presured for time and
- my thoughts were getting mixed... My reply should read:
- <me> Also, the SyQuest drives are loud (contrast the Zip drive) and they
- <me> get quite hot for removable media because they are essentially a
- <me> standard one platter hard drive with an added mechanism that allows
- <me> the head to be safely lifted and the platter to be ejected...
- <me> The Zip drive uses a different approach, the Zip disk itself is more
- <me> like a floppy disk that has incredable access speed (for a
- <me> floppy, that is) and the disk only spins when you are accessing the
- <me> drive- the SyQuest spins constantly, like a hard drive...

- up=20
- comp.sys.be.

- No. 4164 is a 64K by 1 bit chip. That's why you need 8 of them to make
- 64K bytes of memory in your 64. The 4464 is a 64K by 4 bit chip, so two
- of them make up 64K bytes.
-
- Other compatible chip numbers are 21464, 41464, and 81464. They are
- available Through Jameco at 1-800-831-4242. Part #41582. They come in a
- package of two.
- Also, you can get them from any electronics house that carries Jim-Pak.=20
- The Jim-Pak part number is 41464-12JP.
