  1.                                CBTerm Customizer

  5.           The CBTerm Customizer was written to allow users to create their
  6.      own customized versions of CBTerm. It was designed to be as easy to
  7.      use as CBTerm itself.
  8.      
  9.           With the CBTerm Customizer the user can set all of the desired
  10.      paramaters he/she wants to have whenever CBTerm is loaded:
  11.      
  12.           -Any color settings
  13.           -40 or 80 Col Mode
  14.           -Ram Buffer Opened/Closed
  15.           -7/8 Bit Words
  16.           -Positive or Negative Dialing Mode
  17.           -Default Printer Secondary Address
  18.           -300/1200 Baud (If <CR> to Prompt)
  19.           -Batch Xmit On/Off
  20.           -Default User Fkeys (CBTerm 5.0 Only)
  21.           -Clock Display 0n/Off
  22.           -Caps On/Off (CBTerm 4.9 or 5.0 Only)
  23.           -Parity (CBTerm 5.0 Only)

  26.           Note: Although the Clock can be displayed with versions of CBTerm
  27.      prior to 5.0, it will not start on Power-Up until the C=J key is used
  28.      to set the time.

  31.           To use the CBTerm Customizer it can be loaded like any other
  32.      overlay. Version 5.0 allows overlays to be loaded with C=L key. The
  33.      Customizer will also work with earlier versions of CBTerm- Load it
  34.      like any other overlay as follows:

  36.          Load CBTCust,8,1   (or The Name you saved it as)
  37.          New
  38.          Load CBTerm
  39.          Run
  40.

  42.          Once Loaded all paramaters can be set with the C= (Commodore) Key.
  43.      See C=H for help in setting paramaters. When you are happy with all
  44.      the settings hit the C=\ (Pound Sign) key. This will exit to Basic
  45.      where the New Version can be saved. If you have Epyx's fastload
  46.      cartridge plugged in it will still be enabled. DO NOT destroy your old
  47.      version, until you have tried out the new one for at least a couple of
  48.      weeks. You can return to CBTerm just by typing: Run.
