  8.         GEnie is looking for ways to light up the summer nights!  During 
  9.      the month of August, GEnie will be running a special program called 
  10.      "Hot Summer Nights" with the "Hot" referring to more than the 
  11.      temperature.  Contests with prizes, special RTCs, game nights, and 
  12.      various themes (to include International Week, Special Interest Week, 
  13.      Game Week, Finance Week and Education Week) will be included.

  15.         Join an RTC run from another planet in SFRT.  Meet Preston Gralla, 
  16.      editor of PC Computing in HOSB.  Join a week-long promotion with TSR, 
  17.      the role-playing people.  Meet Leslie Nielsen in the ShowBiz RT.

  19.         But wait, there's more!  At various points throughout the month, 
  20.      certain areas of the system will be free to users to explore.  These 
  21.      special times will be announced throughout the month, so keep your 
  22.      eyes open!

  24.         GEnie's News and Events page is FREE throughout the rest of July 
  25.      and the entire month of August.  You can peruse the Schedule of Events 
  26.      for "Hot Summer Nights" (menu item #6) which is being updated on a 
  27.      daily basis with the most current list of events and free areas across 
  28.      the system.  The Schedule of Special RTCs (menu item #3) gives an 
  29.      expanded description of the special events happening in August.

  31.         So, make a note!  Mark your calendar!  August is going to be a HOT 
  32.      month on GEnie and we want for YOU to be a part.
