This application does nothing more than change the icon image and application ownership of your graphic document. If you select a geoPaint doc, it will change the icon to the geoCanvas document icon and make geoCanvas the owner of that document. If you select a geoCanvas doc, it will then change the icon to a geoPaint document
con and make geoPaint the owner of that document.
For example, double-click on a geoPaint document. Notice how the DESK TOP launches geoPaint. What the DESK TOP is doing is loading geoPaint and telling it to load or print a specific document. If you double-click on a geoWrite document, the DESK TOP will launch geoWrite. The same is true for geoCanvas. That is what application ownership is.
PaintCan is used to change which application the document belongs to. If I wanted to, I could have a geoFile
cument belong to geoChart so when you double-click on it, it would load geoChart instead of geoFile. GeoChart would probably have a cow, but it can be done.
Anyway, that's what PaintCan does. There is no difference in the actual file, just the icon and ownership.
