received high praises! We were mentioned right on the front cover! Jason MacDermott also took over the editor's duties an issue earlier (he will be the editor of
JSM
geoComics
as of next issue.) If you want a complimentary copy of
JBM Software Magazine,
send a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope to JBM at the address given on the intro page. This only lasts until August 31, 1990, so hurry! It's a great deal - you only pay for postage!

Pcreators:
I downloaded your first issue from a BBS here in Toronto, and I found that the lynx file didn't work! Luckily, one month later, an arc file of the same issue was online, and it worked.
After printing it out, I must say that I was impressed. Although the comic-pages took a long time to print out on my STAR NX-1000C dot matrix, they were worth it! Mr. MacDermott used the special features of GeoPaint very well, especially the different brush patterns. The art was superb! However, I have a few complaints:
I realize that you only had two pages to tell a complicated story, but it was rather confusing. I'm sure a longer issue would have solved that - please consider it! Also, how about publishing it monthly or bi-monthly? You could complete a story much faster that way.
Anyway, I think you did a great job. The cover was perfect and the story should shape up in future issues. I look forward to hearing about your colour versions!

Thank you for the kind words! We received a fair number of complaints about the size of the comic - everyone wanted more! So, as you can see, this issue
longer! We also believe that the story
"shaping-up," and we are glad to say that the art just keeps getting better!
Well, we are sorry to say this, but going bi-monthly would be too hard a job until we get more writers and artists (Mr. MacDermott is already bogged down with editing and programming commitments!) And as you have heard by now, the colour issues have been cancelled. More on that at a later time.
