We are happy to report that our first issue went over well enough that we were allowed to continue! If you read the first issue, you will already know that
geoComics
is now being published quarterly (four times a year.) In this summer issue, we bring you part two of
@Thunder: the Origin Story,
by Jason MacDermott.
If you would like to write and/or draw a story, or if you have any comments suggestions, please send them (along with a
Self Addressed Stamped Envelope,
) to:
1919 Delaney Drive
Mississauga, Ontario
L5J-3L2
We appreciate any input. If you would like to write/draw a story, we will send you the
"How to be a Writer/Artist"
article that appeared in the last issue.
We have some bad news. The colour editions of
geoComics
have been cancelled. It appears that the colouring reduces the detail, and the colours blend into each other. However, if geoComics remain successful, a colour
Special Edition
will probably be available to subscribers later this year.
PSubscription and Back Issue Ordering:
If you wish to have new issues sent directly to you by mail, please send a check or money order of $3, made out to
Jason MacDermott
(head of JBM Publishing,) to the address above. You will receive a one year subscription (4 issues,) by mail, as soon as they become available. If you are dissatisfied with our service, you will receive a full refund for all un-shipped issues. If you would like to have a back issue sent to you, please send a check or money order made out to
Jason MacDermott,
for $1 per issue. Please specify which issues you would like to receive. In most cases, orders will be shipped within one week. Sorry, no refunds with back issue orders.
Now that the business is out of the way, I'd like to point out that our first reply to a reader's letter appears on the last page of this issue. If you send us a letter, please include your name and address, so that we can reply.
In upcoming issues, we plan to have stories by other writers and artists, but Jason MacDermott has let us know that he has other characters and stories planned, including a "famous time-traveler." We hope that you continue reading!
Next issue, we will be giving you info on ordering
geoComics
on a disk, as well as our main feature, the conclusion of the
@Thunder Origin Story,
and maybe even some reader's response. Until then, enjoy! And thanks for reading!
