  1. I've done a little experimentation and
  2. have come up with the connections
  3. required to construct a geoCable.  The
  4. table below shows the pin connections
  5. for the User Port, the Centronics
  6. connector found on parallel interface
  7. printers, and for the DB-25 connector
  8. of the IBM-PC parallel port type.  I
  9. include the last because the cable
  10. (Centronics to PC DB-25) is commonly
  11. available.

  13. Instead of making a cable, I used a
  14. cable for a PC and made an adaptor to
  15. plug it into the C64's User Port.  The
  16. adaptor consists of a User Port
  17. connector and a DB-25S glued to a small
  18. piece of circuit board, with wires run
  19. between the two connectors.
