  5.     ORGAN.CO turns your Model 100 into a real, useable
  6. single-voice musical instrument.  Each note sounds for as long as
  7. you hold down a key.  It has a range of nearly five octaves.  The
  8. keys are laid out in an arrangement that is easy for piano players
  9. to use.
  10.  
  11.     HOW TO INSTALL ORGAN.CO:
  12.  
  13.     1.  Save all your important files to tape in case of cold start.
  14.  
  15.     2.  Download CHANGE.BA by Rick Perry from DBASES:Uti>.  Save it on
  16. tape.  It's very useful.
  17.  
  18.     3.  Download ORGAN.CO.  Check to make sure there are no extra
  19. garbage characters at the beginning or end.
  20.  
  21.     4.  Run CHANGE.BA.  Position the cursor over the text file you
  22. downloaded from ORGAN.CO.
  23.  
  24.     5.  Press F2 (">BIN").  At the prompt ".CO output file?"
  25. enter "ORGAN".
  26.  
  27.     6.  Wait 3 minutes or so.  (Go play a record.)

  29.     7.  At the prompt "Kill hex input file?" type "Y".
  30.  
  31.     8.  Hit F8 ("Menu").  You're done.

  33.     HOW TO SAVE ORGAN.CO ON TAPE:

  35.     1.  Go to BASIC.
  36.     2.  CLEAR 0,60750
  37.     3.  LOADM "ORGAN"
  38.     4.  CSAVEM "ORGAN",60750,62958,60928

  40.     HOW TO LOAD ORGAN.CO FROM TAPE:

  42.     1.  Go to BASIC.
  43.     2.  CLEAR 0,60750
  44.     3.  CLOADM "ORGAN"
  45.     4.  SAVEM "ORGAN",60750,62958,60928

  47.     HOW TO RUN ORGAN.CO:

  49.     1.  Go to BASIC.
  50.     2.  CLEAR 0,60750
  51.     3.  MENU
  52.     4.  Position the cursor over "ORGAN.CO" and press ENTER.
  53.     5.  To quit, make sure the CAPS LOCK key is off, hold the
  54. SHIFT key down and press the BREAK key.  (In case of dire emergency,
  55. you can also quit by pressing the RESET button on the back of the
  56. machine.)

  58.     HOW TO PLAY THE ORGAN:

  60.     Try the following keys:  ESC, TAB CTRL a z s x d c v g b h n j ,
  61.     Now hold down SHIFT or CAPS LOCK and try them again.
  62.     Now try 1 q 2 w 3 e r 5 t 6 y 7 u i o p [ = BKSP with and without
  63. SHIFT.

  65.     z is middle C, s is C#, x is D, d is D#, c is E, and so on,
  66. like the black and white keys on a piano.  F and K don't do
  67. anything because there's no black key there.
