The dialer has 3 functions. A
description of each function follows,
along with information needed to
utilize each of those functions.
1) PC PURSUIT DIALER: When you are
asked if this is to be a PC Pursuit
call, answer yes.
Later you will be asked for PC Pursuit
area code(s) to dial. You may select
up to 10 by typing the 3 digits of
each, followed by enter. The last
entry is followed by pushing enter
twice. These numbers will be dialed on
a rotary basis, one after the other.
When connection is made, an alarm will
sound to alert you. Press any key, and
the program will automatically advance
to the local dial section.
2) LOCAL DIALING: You will be asked
what numbers to dial. You may enter up
to 10, in the same way as described in
the section above. They will also be
dialed on a rotary basis, one after the
other. The entire list will be
repeated as many times as you select.
When connection is made, an alarm will
sound to alert you. If you are using
the version that is set up to use with
Fast-Term, push any key to advance to
Fast-Term. Otherwise, immediately boot
your terminal program.
If you have selected the option to put
the called system on "hold", you must
then push control Q to release the
called system to begin transmitting.
^^NOTE: Not all systems will accept
this option.
3) VOICE DIALING: Because modems
cannot recognize a voice answer, you
must listen to the calls, and pick up
the phone when you hear a successful
connection made.
IF YOU USE THIS PROGRAM, please do one
of the following:
1. Send up to $5 to me.
2. Send a letter to let me know how it
works for you.
3. Call my BBS at 213 947-7777.
