  9.   Action Graphics is an amusement program based on the old Erector Set
  10.   concept of building things (on your screen) and making them move.  It is
  11.   also quite useful as a simple and ease to use CAD (Computer Aided
  12.   Design) program.  The mouse is used to select any of several graphic
  13.   objects (circle, ellipse, line, triangles, rectangles, gear, etc.) or
  14.   action icons which include Move, Resize, Pulsate, Rotate, Attach, Set
  15.   Speed, Equate, Align, Duplicate, Scale, Undo, and several others.  The
  16.   ability to attach objects to each other, and have the actions affect the
  17.   entire group, makes this a unique, enjoyable program every computer
  18.   enthusiast will want to try.

  20.   Although the program is quite easy to use - you just click on the icon
  21.   you want - additional help text about each object and action is
  22.   available online while running the program.  The help text also
  23.   discusses the expanded actions available when you double click on the
  24.   icons.  To start, read the first page of the help text.  Then, after
  25.   playing with the program for awhile, read about each object and action
  26.   to learn about their particular details to become proficient in using
  27.   Action Graphics.

  41.   SHAREWARE DISTRIBUTED PRODUCT

  45.   If you try a Shareware program and continue using it, you are expected

  110.   Required: IBM AT or compatible computer (10 MHz or faster) with 512K
  111.   RAM, VGA monitor, and a mouse.

  113.   Optional: Epson FX or LQ compatible dot matrix printer or HP Laser Jet
  114.   II compatible printer.

  118.   INSTALLATION AND RUNNING INSTRUCTIONS

  120.   Depending on the form in which you received this product, portions of
  121.   these instructions may not apply.

  123.   Make a directory on your hard disk using the DOS mkdir command.  Use the
  124.   DOS copy command to copy the diskette to the directory.  Change to the
  125.   newly created directory and enter "action" to run the program.  Example: 
  126.  
  127.   mkdir c:\action 
  128.   copy a:*.* \action 
  129.   cd \action 
  130.   action

  132.   The program begins with a one minute repeating demo that can be
  133.   terminated by clicking a mouse button.  Click on the 'More' box and then
  134.   the 'Help' box for additional instructions.

  136.   Incompatable mouse driver software is indicated when the demo figures
  137.   display without a problem but nothing happens or the program hangs up
  138.   when you click a mouse button.  This problem can be resolved by using
  139.   the 100% Microsoft compatable mouse driver which is available in the
  140.   \action directory.  To activate the Microsoft compatable driver add
  141.   this device=c:\action\mouse.sys statement to your config.sys FILE.
  142.   Remove the old mouse driver statement from your CONFIG.SYS file or more
  143.   likely from your AUTOEXEC.BAT file.  Be sure to note what the old
  144.   statment was in the rare case the Microsoft compatable driver does not
  145.   work with your mouse.  If you need help with this, feel free to give me

  204.   figure in landscape mode (printing sideways down the sheet).  Changed
  205.   the screen movement direction when using the scroll action.  Changed the
  206.   word burst to pulsate.  Added the quilt pattern data files to the ZIP

  209.   Release 2.1: September 1, 1993 - Added the ability to the Align action
  210.   to align the fourth object selected with the third, the sixth with the
  211.   fifth and so on.  Fixed problem when scaling an object after equating
  212.   only the height or width.
