  2.     The ftp pub directory is broken down into departments. These 
  3. departments are further broken down to lab/groups.  The lab/groups
  4. directory is created by "gripe@fas.sfu.ca", if it does not exist already,
  5. and the ownership will be set to a representative of that lab/group.  It
  6. will be up to the representative of the lab/group to install the files
  7. in their appropriate directory.  To install the files:
  8.  
  9.      cp <files> to  /fas-info/ftp/pub/<cs eg.>/<lab/group directory>
  10.  
  11. Please note that compressed files can be uncompressed before transmitting
  12. by removing the postfix ".Z" or ".gz" from the name of the file.
