  18. The recently released sources of X11r5 are available by anonymous
  19. ftp from hpb.mcc.ac.uk [130.88.200.7], user name ftp or anonymous,
  20. password your e-mail address.

  22. Note that our internet is connected to the European mainland
  23. vi the US, so that we are not closer to European sites than
  24. US sites are.  Note that access is only vi internet ftp: we
  25. have not yet managed to acquire a working info-server for
  26. Janet access.  Also note that, because of continuing problems
  27. with the configuration of our local nameservers, you may not always
  28. be able to use the machine name, but you should be able to use
  29. the address 130.88.200.7.
  30.  
  31. The files are in the directory pub/X11r5.  They include all files
  32. from the R5 directory at export.lcs.mit.edu, with the same
  33. directory structure.  They also include compressed tar files
  34. into which the split files from MIT have been concatenated.  This
  35. is intended to simplify ftping the files.  The following files
  36. contain the entire release:

  51. release notes contain a brief description of the various tar files,
