  7. It is strongly recommended that you read the man page for
  8. the Cnews expire(8) command, studying the expire list line
  9. options, then read the cpexpire.1 man page distributed with
  10. the pexpire package.  Note that dopexpire() does not use
  11. /usr/lib/news/explist.

  13. You may need to edit the Makefile, edit the file
  14. "pexpire.h", edit the file "pexplist", and edit the file
  15. "dopexpire", paying particular attention to lines after '#
  16. YOU MAY WANT TO EDIT THE FOLLOWING'.  To install, as root
  17. do a 'make cnewsinstall'.

  20. Dave Taylor (taylor@limbo.intuitive.com) originally wrote
  21. pexpire.  I made some relatively minor modifications so that
  22. it would run under Cnews.  His copyright stands.  Dopexpire
  23. is just a doexpire ripoff from Cnews, written by Henry Spencer
  24. and Geoff Collyer at U. of Toronto.  The man page is a
  25. combination of both Cnews' expire(8) and Dave's pexpire(1) man
  26. pages.
