  10. I just got a letter from someone asking about the sudden "reposting" of
  11. messages from May and June.  For the benefit of those of you who haven't been
  12. keeping up with the traffic in news.admin, I will explain.

  14. There is a *net-wide* re-propagation of news going on for some reason.  The
  15. various Usenet "major" site admins are attempting to track it down; in the
  16. meantime, old messages are showing up in all newsgroups.  We'll all have to
  17. bear with it until the "time warp" is found and eliminated.  Archivers, take
  18. note -- beware of repeat messages.
