  10.     "Ohh NO, another DIY level for WormsDC", I hear you say, and you
  11.   would be absolutely right! But this one is quite cool I think (excuse
  12.   the modesty!!)
  13.  
  14.     It's a Candy-Land, based on all things sugary and sweet. To be honest,
  15.   I am NO artist, but when (after about 3 months of tweaking) it was
  16.   finished I actually surprised myself. It just goes to show what you can
  17.   do with PPaint 7.1, a lot of time (boredom) and, err, some (slight)
  18.   initial inspiration from the Playstation's Candy-Land. After browsing
  19.   the Internet for some decent DIY Landscapes, I was dissapointed to only
  20.   find about eight that were lucky enough to remain in my prestigious
  21.   (yeah, right) TWDIY drawer! Some of which were CHESS (the palette
  22.   arrangement could be better though), RUINS, WEIRD, FORTUNE, VEGGIE,
  23.   GANJA, BEASTY, SOUTHPARK and FARM. So thanks to the people who made
  24.   those!  Also, thanks to Daniel Polansky for including my land in his
  25.   recent Worms compilation....Cheers.

  27.     In this archive (which of course you have just downloaded...haven't
  28.   you?) is also another Worms goodie; a Cheats menu. This is a single
  29.   executable file which brings up a GUI allowing you to view ALL (I think)
  30.   the cheats in WormsDC!!

  53.     -  Oringial release. Ground pattern was not totally seamless, and
  54.        the palette arrangement was not that good!  Oh well

  59.     -  Decided to update this land because of good e-mail response
  60.        (yes okay, so I should have used "Gloop" in the first place!!)

  62.     -  Changed the water to gloop (err, I mean chocolate...yeah)

  64.     -  Changed the Mountain colours (they too are now chocolate!)

  66.     -  Completely changed the sky colours (to match the scene)

  68.     -  COMPLETELY changed the ground pattern (I used the same
  69.        technique to create it, so it still looks similar). It now looks
  70.        TOTALLY seamless (unlike the last one; it was ONE pixel out!!), and
  71.        the pattern now looks better as it is more compact.

  74.        look (noticable in the ground pattern)

  77.        the landscape (including the cake, lollipop, gob-stopper, and candy

  84.        to want... see NOTE)!!  HAPPY NOW?  I want feedback about this!!

  88.        even darker. (The sky hasn't changed..I think I'm happy with that)

  91.        constantly picking at... I'm a perfectionist!)

  93.     -  Made a big palette change.  The two orange colours are now 'closer'
  94.        together... Check out the lollipops!

  97.        realistic) and also other objects making them 'smoother'.

  105.   I have included 2 DIY files; CANDY & CANDY2:

  107.   CANDY.DIY has a background pattern (ie, which is shown when an explosion
  108.   occurs).  CANDY2.DIY does not have a background pattern (ie, every
  109.   explosion makes a complete 'hole' in the landscape).
  110.   I have done this because some people prefer NOT to have a background
  111.   pattern as it is sometimes hard to differentiate between the background
  112.   and the foreground (especially in some DIY's that I've seen).  This is
  113.   not entirely the case with my background pattern, but it is not as
  114.   distinct as I would like it to be (due to palette restrictions)

  116.   At least you can have the choice... :-)
