- Rick Perry (perry@vu-vlsi.UUCP; perry@vuvaxcom.BITNET) is archiving
- comp.sources.misc, and will accept email, anonymous UUCP, and tar/cpio tape
- archive requests. Send mail to him at one of the email addresses above for
- more information.

- Jason Winters at Arix Systems (sun!aeras!jason) is archiving comp.sources.misc
- and the .games and .unix groups. Send mail to sun!aeras!jason for more

- Michael Squires (pitt!sir-alan!mikes) has anonymous UUCP access to archives.

- The index is available by requesting the file /usr/spool/pdsrc/all.subjects.
- A mail server is also available; send mail to sir-alan!theo!snarf with a
- subject of "snarf" and body "snarf help" for help on its use.

- Rob Marchand ({utzoo,watmath}!lsuc!array!rob) will email sources or, as a
- last resort, provide UUCP access. He is also the "official" VMS sources
- archiver, as he also archives sources in comp.os.vms.

- Joe Carlson (carlson@lll-winken.llnl.gov, 128.115.14.1) has set up an archive
- available via anonymous FTP; articles are stored by X-Archive: index in
- subdirectories of /pub/comp.sources.misc. Note that these archives start from
- 9/87; anything from April to August isn't available. [NOTICE: A series
- of HD failures has trashed the archives; they are being rebuilt under
- /csm.archives.]

- UUNET is keeping archives in ~ftp/comp.sources.misc, and I will be maintaining
- them.

- xanth.cs.odu.edu [128.82.8.1] has its archives of comp.sources.misc available
- for anonymous ftp. It should be complete (starting with volume2). Contact
- Tad Guy (tadguy@cs.odu.edu) for more information.

- root@alphacm.UUCP for more information.

- Mark Prior <munnari!sirius.ua.oz.au!mrp> has set up an archive on
- sirius.ua.oz.au for comp.sources.misc (and some other groups). Volume2 and
- later are available for retrival via for either ACSnet "fetchfile" or anonymous
- FTP (129.127.40.3). Files are stored in sources/misc/volume<nn> by issue
- number in compressed form, (~ftp/pub/sources/misc/volume<nn> for ftp users).
- There is a file in the misc subdirectory, called INDEX, that lists the issues
- available.

- Michael R. Johnston, rutgers!lilink!mikej, archives comp.sources.misc,
- comp.sources.unix, and comp.sources.games. He plans to add comp.sources.x
- very soon (disk space permitting). The access to the archive is provided via
- anonomous UUCP. The indexes are as follows:

- Archived files are compressed and stored using their posting number.
- I.E /usr/spool/uucppublic/sources/games/V07020.Z etc.

- The phone numbers are 516-872-2137 for 1200/2400 baud access, and 516-872-2138
- for 9600 baud (Telebit) access. Use the login name "Uanon".

- Steven Parker, sp@attctc.dallas.tx.us maintains a full archive of c.s.unix,
- c.s.misc and several other USENET newsgroups. This archive is available via
- anonymous UUCP and is reachable through PC Pursuit. A sample L.sys line
