Your skeleton is a combination of a coat hanger and a crash helmet.
Your internal organs, such as the lungs, stomach and brain, are all suspended from and protected by your skeleton.
The skeleton protects your internal organs from getting tangled or crushed up against each other.
Bones form a system of levers and joints that can be moved by the muscles.
