  1.   White blood cells
  2. You have about 8,000 white blood cells in a cubic millimetre of blood.  There are several different types of white blood cells.  
  3. Their main job is to engulf bacteria and to produce chemicals that protect the body from being poisoned by these bacteria.
  4.
