  3. You have four types of teeth - click on a box to access information about each type.
  4. The teeth labelled “I” are called Incisors.  They are chisel shaped and help you to bite off small pieces from large lumps of food.
  5. The teeth labelled “C” are called Canines.  They help you to bite off lumps of food.
  6. The teeth labelled “M” are called Molars.  They are located at the back of the mouth.  They are used to grind food to a paste.  They have flat surfaces.
  7. The teeth labelled “P” are called Pre-Molars.  They are used to grind food to a paste before you swallow.  They have flat surfaces.
