  4.  The Basilica of St Mark is a curious confection of Byzantine, Romanesque and 
  5. Gothic - it's certainly unique in terms of architecture. The famous quadriga
  6. of the four galloping horses is unfortunately undergoing restoration, as is
  7. the facade of the Campanile (on the right).
