  18.   |    Our top story:                                                        |
  19.   :          This pretty much officially puts the final nails in the         :
  20.   |   coffin for Quad-P Productions.  I could spend the extra time trying    |
  21.   |   to "pretty up" the pack, but I think this gives a better feel of       |
  22.   |   the kind of people we really were: not caught up in looking pretty,    |
  23.   |   but interested in getting the job done.  Even a year later, this       |
  24.   |   feels like a rush, but it had to be done.  Can't we all just get       |
  25.   |   along?                                                                 |
  26.   |          While the group won't be releasing AS a group anymore, I        |
  27.   |   would like to think that we will still carry the label on to us        |
  28.   |   with other ventures.  I dislike thinking that we're simply stealing    |
  29.   :   Tinyz's idea, but I really would like to think that we can continue    :
  30.   |   to do independent releases under the qdp label.                        |
  31.   |          Quad-P has been my cozy little home for more years than I       |
  32.   |   can remember.  Hiro gave me a shot, as he is prone to do, and I        |
  33.   |   have never forgotten about that.  Even in the days of Revolt, and      |
  34.   |   now with Remorse, PiPE, and Codine, I still look upon Quad-P as        |
  35.   |   my focus.  It's because of this wacky-assed crew that I got to the     |
  36.   :   places I have, and for that I will be forever thankful.  No matter     :
  37.   |   where I end up in the future, I will always be wr<qdp> first and       |
  38.   |   foremost.                                                              |
  39.   |          We had originally hoped to send Quad-P out with a bang, but     |
  40.   |   with 11 months passing since the last release, most people already     |
  41.   |   have assumed that the group is dead.  So let's view this as a wake     |
  42.   |   for the dearly departed.  Sit back, grab something to drink, and       |
  43.   :   reminisce about the 'P.  We have managed to get some of our favorite   :
  44.   |   boys from around the world to give us some final thoughts.  You will   |
  45.   |   find them spread throughout the pack, either as stand-alone textfiles  |
  46.   |   or hidden in pieces somewhere.  To those of you that have supported    |
  47.   |   us over the years, we thank you.  To those of you that haven't, maybe  |
  48.   |   it's time you took a closer look at what the 'P has stood for.  Lots   |
  49.   |   of groups have come out in the past years that attempted to copy our   |
  50.   :   philosophies, but they just haven't captured the essence of what made  :
  51.   |   us who we are.                                                         |
  52.   |          The simple fact is, we were always better than you.  We didn't  |
  53.   |   rely on the internet or stealing members from "well known" groups in   |
  54.   |   order to improve our positions.  The vast majority of our members came |
  55.   |   from a population base of under 5million.  At times we have been       |
  56.   |   solely based in an areacode that holds less than 1million people.  At  |
  57.   :   no time did we feel it was time to be something we weren't.  What      :
  58.   |   are we?  Pound-for-pound, we're the best damned thing to come along    |
  59.   |   in the past 12 years.                                                  |
  60.   |          That's enough of a rant from me for now.  You'll find another   |
  61.   |   discussion by me elsewhere in the pack.  For now, amuse yourself by    |
  62.   |   checking out all the old member lists that have been included in here. |
