  1. Welcome to the Ultimate Visual Basic 4 Controls CD-ROM
  2.  
  3. To get started quickly, just run the SETUP.EXE file
  4. that is located in the root directory. This will
  5. allow you to setup the custom controls database
  6. engine and also the NetSeeker on-line update utility.
  7.  
  8. Here is a list of directories and what they contain:
  9.  
  10. DEMOS    - Demo programs for many of the controls 
  11.            listed in the database and the book.
  12. BETAS    - Beta version of some neat custom controls
  13.            that you can use!
  14. AUDIO    | 
  15. DEM_DATA | These five directories contain information
  16. IMAGES   | used by the Explore the Grand Canyon demo
  17. VFWRT    | program.
  18. VIDEO    |

  20. You may notice another setup program in the root
  21. called GCSETUP.EXE. This program will install a demo
  22. version of the incredible multimedia product from the
  23. Coriolis Group called Explore the Grand Canyon. This
  24. demo requires a screen resolution of 800 by 600 pixels
  25. with at least 64,000 colors. Check your video cards
  26. documentation if your system is not running at these
  27. resolutions or higher.
