- The 8k Clock - Copyright (C) 1986 by Jack Radigan
-
- Do you find clocks that are 20k to 40k in size, unacceptable?
- ===============================================================
-
- This is a no-frills (well, maybe one...) clock that fits completely in
- the title area. It's an inch and a half long and one character line deep.
- That's 112 by 10 pixels in case you need to be precise. It has four gadgets
- attached, the close button, the drag bar and the two depth gadgets. They are
- located within the readout, and each take about quarter of the display box.
- To move the clock, posistion the pointer over the left semi-colon of the
- time display, this is where the drag bar is. You can also see the gadgets by
- holding down the select button over the readout.
-
- The only frills added are the display of the date and year at the minute
- and half-minute intervals, and the display of the day-of-week at the
- quarter minute and three-quarter minute intervals. As of yet there isn't
- an alarm, if enough of you want one maybe I'll do it, let me know via
- e-mail.
-
- To use it just modify the Startup-Sequence file to RUN klock. At times
- the readout will not advance on every second, this is due to a task that
- has control of the cpu for a rather long period of time and has higher
- priority than the clock. It can show you which programs are "time hogs".
-
- This is not a public domain program but can be used and distributed on
- a not-for-profit basis. Please don't hack-out the blurb that appears when
- the clock first starts up, thanks.
