  4. It is the spring of 1942. The world is at war. Five world powers are
  5. struggling for supremacy. You and your opponents control the military
  6. and economic destiny of one or more of these countries. The Axis powers
  7. are Germany and Japan. Challenging their expansionism are the Allied
  8. powers of the United Kingdom, the U.S.S.R. and the United States. You
  9. must work as a team with the country or countries in your alliance. In
  10. this game, you'll discover that cooperation and negotiation are just as
  11. important as tactical maneuvering.

  13. Dogs Of War is a multi-player war game. Up to five players can connect
  14. over the internet to battle it out in the classic war scenario: World
  15. War II.

  17. System Requirements:
  18.     - Microsoft 32-bit Windows. This program has been tested under
  19.         Windows 95, and Windows NT. It will not operate under obsolete
  20.         versions of Windows.
  21.     - All the equipment you need to run Windows.
  22.     - Multimedia sound adds to the fun but isn't required.
  23.     - Network play requires WinSock32. The network load is very light
  24.         and performs quite well at 2400 baud.

  26. Installation Instructions:
  27.     Copy the files to a directory on your hard drive. There are
  28.     no special path or environmental requirements. Just run the
  29.     game. Add it to whatever program shell you use however you
  30.     normally do it. That usually makes it easier to run again
  31.     next time.
