SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
VGA Monitor
8086 Processor
1 MB RAM
(If you can run DOS and have a VGA monitor, you can run these utilities.)
Recommended:
VGA Monitor
80386 Processor
1 MB RAM
(If you cannot meet the above requirements, how are you running DN3D?)
----------
CART.EXE
USAGE:
CART
This program will combine the contents of files TILES000.ART to TILES014.ART
into a single file named IMAGE000.ART totalling 4096 tiles (many blank). The
files TILES000.ART to TILES014.ART must be in the working directory. It runs
almost at optimum copying speed, creating IMAGE000.ART, a 14MB or so file.
It will overwrite any existing file named IMAGE000.ART.
----------
RART.EXE
USAGE
RART <FILE.ART> <NEW.ART>
This program will renumber the tiles in <FILE.ART> given a starting tiles
number, and write the changes to <NEW.ART>. If <NEW.ART> exists, it will
overwrite it. Not much error checking is performed.
Example of usage:
RART TILES000.ART ATEST000.ART
----------
VART.EXE
USAGE
VART <FILE.ART>
This program views .ART image files. It will only display images in the
320x200 area. Images whose raw data exceeds 64000 bytes will be truncated
at the 64000 byte mark. It is probably the fastest viewer for .ART files
now available. It uses the default DN3D pallette and also the default names
in NAMES.H. Use <Page Up> and <Page Down> to go to the previous and next
image respectively. Use <G> to go to a specific tile number. It only views
the image in the current .ART file. <ESC> exits.

I also live in the DFW area (Dallas/Ft. Worth), Arlington to be specific. I
would welcome any DUKEMATCH games. Please e-mail a number and times when
you are free to play.
Thanks again to 3D Realms!
