  7. HOW TO INSTALL:
  8. Copy the following files to any subdirectory:
  9.      FMONSTER.EXE
  10.      FMONSTER.HLP
  11.      FMONSTER.TXT
  12.      FMONST.DLL

  14. Copy the following files to your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory:
  15.      THREED.VBX
  16.      CMDIALOG.VBX
  17.      MSGBLAST.VBX
  18.      CTL3D.DLL
  19.      VBRUN300.DLL *

  21. * Note that VBRUN300.DLL is not included in this archive. You can obtain
  22.   the file from wherever you obtained FMONS342.ZIP

  28. HOW TO USE:
  29. Create an icon in Program Manager, or double click on FMONSTER.EXE in
  30. File Manager. Once it's running, press "F1" for on-line help.

  33. FONT MONSTER WON'T RUN?
  34. If you can't get Font Monster to start, use File Manager and double-click
  35. on the FMONSTER.HLP file. Then press the "SEARCH" button and seach for the
  36. word "bugs". Here you will find advice about how to make Font Monster run
  37. on your system.

  45. This program is shareware. It costs a mere $25 to register.

  48. or Discover, from Public (software) Library (PsL), a very reputable, and 
  49. well established, shareware distributor which offers a registration 
  50. service to us shareware authors. You can also send them a cheque by 
  51. regular mail, make the cheque out to "Public (software) Library", not to
  52. Leaping Lizards.

  79. Font Monster, will be delivered in a perfumed air-mail envelope all the 
  80. way from Taiwan, with some pretty neat looking Chinese stamps on it! Not 
  81. bad for 25 bucks, right? I don't send out a disk because the unregistered 
  82. version is exactly the same as the registered version, only minus your ID

  85. COPYRIGHT, DISTRIBUTION, & DISCLAIMERS
  86. Font Monster and this documentation were written by me, Steven Fox. I am 
  87. the sole owner of this piece of intellectual copyright and you must abide 
  88. by all the legal mumbo-jumbo that always goes along with such things. Got 
  89. it? If this program messes up your system, sue me.

  91. Shareware dealers*: You are permitted to distribute Font Monster as long 
  92. as you distribute the unaltered FMONS342.ZIP archive file you received. 
  93. You may charge a fee for such distribution as long as it is less than 
  94. US$5, and that it is made quite clear before distribution that this 
  95. software is shareware and that an additional fee is required by the 
  96. author. If you can not abide by this notice, I reserve the right to 
  97. refuse further distribution of Font Monster by your company.

  99. CD-ROM and book publishers*: You are permitted to publish the unaltered 
  100. FMONS342.ZIP as long as you notify me in some way beforehand so that I 
  101. can directly provide you with the latest update; and you must send me a

  103. has been published. Failure to do so is a violation of my copyright, and 
  104. will result in my refusal to allow inclusion of Font Monster on any 
  105. further material published by your company, and you can expect to see 
  106. your name here. I'm tired of being cordial about this, because far too 
  107. many CD-ROM and book publishers are making zillions more $$$ than me off 
  108. my hard work, and most of you don't even attempt to contact me.

  110. Free or subscription on-line services, archive sites, and BBS's*: If you
  111. fall into this catagory, you can post FMONS342.ZIP. No problem.

  113. *Exceptions to the above notices: If you received this program on a disk, 
  114. directly from me, that means I am already familiar with your service and 
  115. that I want you to distribute my software, even if you do not necessarily 
  116. abide by my stated guidelines. If you are an on-line service, or some sort
  117. of on-line archive site, and you plan to issue a CD-ROM containing files
  118. from your archives, you have permission to include this version of Font
  119. Monster on your disk.
