- DECAY
-
- SCREEN SAVER FOR MS WINDOWS 3.1
-
-
- The original idea is from the Sun workstations.
- I don't know who implemented it first.
- If the originator reads this drop me an email
- and I will mention you at the credit section.
-
- When it is time to save the screen it looks like if there is
- a heat source behind the screen that makes it decay/melt.
- After a while the hole screen is melted.
-
- Requirements: BWCC.DLL
- (mail me if you don't how to get it, or wait for the next release)
-
- How to install:
- Copy DECAY.SCR to your windows directory ( C:\windows )
- Start the Control Panel from within the Program manager and
- select 'Desktop'. In the section controlling the screen saver
- you can select Decay with the 'Drop Down Box'.
- Decay has yet no options, although there is a dialog under
- the 'Setup Button' telling that there are no options.
- Then test if it all works and click on Ok.
- Now Decay is active.
-
- Known problems:
- - if you have a windows accellerator video card it will all
- go very fast.
-
- Things for the next release:
- - make an MS C version so the filesize will drop from about
- 68Kb (thanks to OOP) to around 20Kb.
- - another advantage of MS C is that you don't need BWCC.DLL
- - add an option to slow down Decay for a windows accellerator
- card
-
- Decay is Public Domain so feel free to make copies.
-
- Drop me a mail if you think there is more to be enhanced
- to this screen saver.
