  9. VIDVUE is an easy-to-use Multimedia player/slideshow/viewer/utility
  10. distributed as 100% Functional Shareware.
  11.  
  12. It fully supports FULL-FEATURED 89a and 87a GIFs with, probably, the fastest
  13. decode-to-screen Window routines (80x86 assembly).  Includes Full Screen
  14. decoding and full support for JPG/JIF, BMP/DIB, PCX, TIFF, TGA and DCX
  15. formats, plus, raster image support for WPG, EPS and PICT files.  Comment
  16. viewing, with many options, for GIF and JPG/JIF files is also supported.

  18. It plays AVI video, WAV audio, MIDI music and FLI/FLC animation files.  AVI
  19. playback can be fully scaled in a sizeable window.  Includes AVI frame grab
  20. function to import and save AVI frames to other formats.

  22. Multimedia slideshows (w/ all formats) can be played with marked files and
  23. user scripts.  Includes Shuffle Play, AutoCenter, AutoDither, AutoSize,
  24. variable delays and backgrounds and AVI scaling, special GIF processing,
  25. plus other features PER SLIDE!  Plays WAV and MID files with displayed
  26. images.  Unlimited slides (as many as you want).

  28. Conveniences include last file(s) recall (up to eight files); last
  29. drive/directory recall and last desktop position recall.

  31. Image printing on B/W printers supports error-distributed dithering for
  32. superior gray shades.  Interface includes a simulated document to resize and
  33. position image on paper before printing.

  35. Special image processing includes 'hotspot removal' for converting GIFs to
  36. BMP Wallpaper without the "burnt colors", and PackVideo, for enhancing video
  37. frame captures and resizing.

  39. VIDVUE also converts file formats, sharpens, smoothens, adjusts contrast
  40. and brightness, resizes, flips/rotates, dithers, reduces colors, and
  41. converts to gray, among other features.

  101. IMPORTANT:

  103. Please ensure that VBRUN300.DLL is in your Windows directory or
  104. Windows System sub-directory before running VVUSETUP.EXE from Windows.

  106. To install, select "Run" from the Program Manager menu bar then enter
  107. the pathname and "VVUSETUP".  For example, if you extracted the files
  108. into "e:\test" then type "e:\test\vvusetup".

  110. VIDVUE's Setup now provides an option to setup ALL files in it's specified
  111. application directory.
