  6.     Two months after her husband Nelson Mandela, president of the
  7. African National Congress, announced their separation, Winnie
  8. Mandela has had more bad news. The a.n.c. Women's League ousted
  9. the executive committee of the Johannesburg branch she headed,
  10. effectively dismissing her. South African newspapers also
  11. report the a.n.c. is looking into the loss of $130,000 from a
  12. department she directed until her resignation in April. The
  13. a.n.c. denied the story -- just as it had denied that the
  14. Mandelas were separating.
