twBRBrowse() Mouse Hot Spots
If you are using the built in mouse support
in TSDWIN, you may want to extend it by
using Mouse Hot Spots. A hot spot is a
region on the screen which is checked for
a mouse action and any suitable function
performed whenever the spot is active.
The IMPORTANT thing to rememeber when
using mouse hot spots, is the the
programmer is responsible for handling the
memory they use. If a spot is created, it
MUST be released when its purpose has been
served.
The general format for creating and using
the spots is:
nHandle := twBRHotSpot( nT, nL, nB, nR, bAction, ;
nButton, nPause, lRelease )
Where: nT, nL, nB, nR - Absolute Screen
coordinates of
Hot Spot.
bAction - Code block to be
executed.
nButton - Mouse button:
0 = left
1 = right
3 = both
nPause - Default delay time
for mouse action.
lRelease - Default release
time for double
clicks.
AND: After exit from the browse:
twBRRemHotSpot( nHandle )
