Dear User,
If you just received TURBO Designer 1, MAKE A BACK UP COPY!
Some other concerns:
PRINTDOC will send the 30 page documentation to the printer.
Type PRINTDOC at the DOS prompt (e.g. C>"PRINTDOC" you type everything
between the quotes, but not the quotes).
Look at FILELIST.DOC for an explanation of the files on this disk.
If you are having trouble with the cursor, SetCursor(Switch : Boolean);
can be used to turn the cursor on and off, respectively.
TURBO Designer will work with all of the following:
IBM PC
XT
XT CLONES
XT TURBO CLONES
AT
AT CLONES
AT TURBO CLONES
386 systems
Portable PC
PCjr
Monochrome systems
Monographic systems
CGA systems
EGA systems
P/S 2 Model 25,30,50,60,70,80
PC convertable
other laptops and portables
If TURBO Designer doesn't work on your system, tell me your system's
configuration, model, manufacturer, amount of memory, DOS version number,
etc. so that I can warn other users.
TURBO Designer includes TP4*.TPU and TP5*.TPU: the library units
for TURBO Pascal 4.0 and 5.0, respectively. Use TP4Inst.Bat or
TP5Inst.Bat to install the correct version on your system. TURBO
Designer cannot generate code until the correct installation batch
file is run.
TD1.EXE, a powerhouse of 14255 lines, took exactly one year to write.
Hopefully, major updates will be released every six months or so.
Please print the documentation and read it thouroghly before using
TD1.
Thank you for taking an interest in TD1, and good luck!
