TERMS OF SALE: I-APL FOR PC AND CLONES - Version 1.0
8 Jan 1988
I-APL is an ISO/ANSI/BSI conforming APL interpreter for
educational and home use. It will be available on many home
& school microcomputers. This order form is for IAPL/PC only.
MACHINES SUITABLE FOR I-APL/PC
I-APL/PC runs on hardware-compatible PCs and clones. It has
been tested on many of the popular PC-compatible machines. It
will produce APL characters on machines with displays which
are hardware compatible with Hercules, CGA or EGA and printers
which are Epson compatible.
If it turns out that your machine is not compatible you may
return the goods in perfect condition and original packing and
we will refund the sale price, but not the postage and packing
charge. If IAPL will not run on your machine, please try the
disk on another PC or clone before returning it to us. We will
replace faulty disks if you return the disk and enclose return
postage.
COPYRIGHT AND PROTECTION
I-APL Ltd retains ownership of the copyright of all the
material on the disk. You are strictly prohibited from selling
it or using it for direct commercial gain. To do commercial
work with APL you will need one of the fast and powerful
commercial APLs with filing systems and large workspaces.
There is no copy protection on this disk or any of the files
it contains. You may copy the complete disk and give it away.
Please do not allow altered copies to circulate. The manuals
are all available separately and we encourage you to buy them
to go with copies; they are much cheaper than the cost of
photocopies.
You will need help and encouragement while you are learning APL.
The British APL Association has a quarterly 128pp magazine, six
or more meetings a year and occasional special events. Write to
it c/o the BCS Specialist Groups' Liaison, 13 Mansfield Street,
London W1M 0BP. It is worth joining.
We discourage orders from abroad. We hope that distribution in
each country will be organised locally. If you are abroad and
feel you must order please send a donation sufficient to cover
the worst case of post and packing charges. Airmail for the
complete pack could be as much as 11 pounds.
To use the order form below please print it out on plain paper,
complete it and send it with payment to the order address.
