  1. Short:    A simple but practical SetTime script

  6. Set the correct time with a simple CLI script. Why I wrote this anyway ?
  7. Because I think it is simple but effective and mainly I haven't got a
  8. clock inside my Amiga. You can save about $25 with a bit work. You have
  9. to set the correct date only once a day, and the correct time at every
  10. startup procedure.

  12. And why is it worth ? Why you need a clock or this script ?
  13. - it is a must if you are a programmer, where your source files have to be
  14.   maintained by a makefile
  15. - you can use fine the Workbench View by Date option
  16. - you can use other dir utils' date sort function
  17. - you have more chance to find the new files after an unneeded installation
  18. - you have more chance to find fileviruses

  20. Note: extract the archie file with the -a (Preserve file attributes) option.
