  1. Possible error questions
  2.  
  3. Q1:     PROPHET is hanging while I am selecting the menu option 
  4.     "Ephemeris of Planets' Positions" or "Clock" from "For Astrologers" Menu?
  5.  
  6. Ans:     Install the software "MDAC_TYP" (Microsoft Data Access Components), 
  7.     You can locate this in PROPHET installation CD.

  10. Q2a:    Prophet shows the error message "Run-time error 380 - Invalid Property Value"
  11. Q2b:    Prophet Screen shows invalid or junk characters.
  12.  
  13. Ans:    Install the True Type Fonts (TTF) contains in you Prophet CD as detailed below.

  15.     Insert the Prophet CD in CD drive.
  16.  
  17.     Press -> [Start] -> [Settings] -> [Control Panel] -> [Fonts]
  18.     -> [File] -> [Install New Font]
  19.     
  20.     The dialogue box "Add fonts" will appear on your computer screen.
  21.     Select CD drive from the drive list box of the dialogue box.
  22.     The four fonts of Prophet software will appear on the screen.

  24.     The TTF fonts are,
  25.         ProphetEnglishNormal (TrueType)
  26.         ProphetHindiNormal (TrueType)
  27.         ProphetMalayalamNormal (TrueType)
  28.         ProphetTamilNormal (TrueType)

  30.     Press in the [Select All] and [OK] buttons to install these fonts

  33. Q3:     Prophet shows the error message "Run-time error 482 - Printer error" and quitting.

  35. Ans:    Install a Printer driver in your system as below.
  36.     
  37.     Press-> [Start] -> [Setting] -> [Printers] -> [AddPrinters]
  38.     and add a printer driver in your system and restart Prophet.

  40. Q3:     Runtime Error 429, Can't create ActiveX control.

  42. Ans:    Delete the file MSADODC.OCX from Windows System directory and re-install PROPHET

  44. Q4:    Blank Pages and skipping pages in printing.

  46. Ans:    Set the paper size to A4 in printer setup dialogue
