Welcome to the Visual Basic VS Delphi Microsoft Database Access Test
This demo compares Visual Basic creation, access and navigation through a Microsoft Database (The MS Access MDB file) against creation, access and navigation of an MDB file using Delphi and the Ariel DAO SDK. The Ariel DAO SDK goes to the heart of the Data Access Objects providing you with lightning access to the Jet API.
The Delphi demo source code showing Ariel in action is included.
Note: In order to rerun the demos (which you will want to do to create bigger test databases) delete the MDB file created by the test software.
