  1. To install :
  2. create a directory c:\chemLab (for example)
  3. pkunzip chemlab.zip to that directory
  4.  
  5. ChemLab requires Windows 3.1 or Win95
  6.  
  7. ChemLab will require about 670K of disk space 
  8.  
  9. Running:
  10. run chem.exe from windows 
  11. read the help file (from menu or lab manual button) on using ChemLab
  12.  
  13. To perform the Fractional crystallization lab select 
  14. it from the experiment menu and select the lab manual and 
  15. follow instructions.

  20. Also included is a lab file, which shows available lab equipment (equip.lab).

  25. If you add too many lab objects onto the screen, ChemLab may appear
  26. sluggish, as it's redrawing each non-empty object at 2 fps. Try deleting
  27. unnecessary objects in that case.
