  9.             Once we get inside the complex,
  10.             we stop at nothing until we
  11.             capture the changeling.

  13.             For Cardassia.

  15.     The others repeat the refrain: "FOR CARDASSIA!"
  16.     That is, everyone except Kira... and with the SHOUTS
  17.     still ringing in their ears, Damar leads Ekoor and
  18.     the two other Cardassians up the steps --
  19.  
  20. 101  ANGLE ON KIRA
  21.  
  22.     about to follow, when she notices Garak standing
  23.     silently over the tarp-covered body of Mila.
  24.  
  25.                     KIRA
  26.             Garak --
  27.  
  28.                     GARAK
  29.             During all my years of exile... I
  30.             imagined what it would be like to
  31.             come home... maybe even to live
  32.             in this house again with Mila.
  33.                 (a beat)
  34.             But now she's dead and this house
  35.             is about to become a pile of
  36.             rubble...
  37.                 (a beat)
  38.             My Cardassia is gone.
  39.  
  40.                     KIRA
  41.             Then fight for a new Cardassia.
  42.  
  43.     ANOTHER EXPLOSION -- this one, even louder and
  44.     closer -- rattles the walls.
  45.  
  46.                     GARAK
  47.             I have a better reason than that,
  48.             colonel. Revenge.
  49.  
  50.     And with that, he turns away from Mila and walks
  51.     past Kira up the stairs.
  52.  
  53.                     KIRA
  54.                 (to herself)
  55.             That can work, too.
  56.
