  7.             If you lack the courage to fight
  8.             an uphill battle, then perhaps
  9.             you should retire to your bed.

  11.     There's a tense beat in the room as Martok rises and
  12.     puts a hand on his knife. Gowron's eyes narrow and
  13.     he waits for Martok to make his move. But in the
  14.     end, Martok feels the call of duty and his hand
  15.     drops away from the knife.

  17.                     MARTOK
  18.             I will fight any battle,
  19.             anywhere... for the Empire.
  20.  
  21.                     GOWRON
  22.                 (with a sneer)
  23.             Spoken like a true warrior.
  24.  
  25.     Martok sits back down and Gowron goes back to the
  26.     map. Worf looks at Martok and realizes that
  27.     something's got to give.
  28.  
  29.                     GOWRON
  30.             After Martok has softened their
  31.             defenses --

  33.                     WORF
  34.             No.
  35.  
  36.     Worf stands up.

  38.                     WORF
  39.             We cannot attack Sarpedion.

  41.                     GOWRON
  42.             I decide what can and cannot be
  43.             done.
  44.  
  45.                     WORF
  46.             You rule without wisdom and
  47.             without honor. The warriors
  48.             gathered here will not say this
  49.             to you... but I will. You are
  50.             squandering our ships and our
  51.             lives in a petty act of
  52.             vengeance. You do not care what
  53.             happens to the Empire, you only
  54.             care about Gowron.

  56.     A deep hatred burns in Gowron's eyes.
