  6.     where he's met by a CLOUD OF SMOKE and an unhappy 
  7.     KASIDY YATES-SISKO, wearing an apron and standing 
  8.     over Sisko's STOVE. Various pots and pans contain 
  9.     the ruins of a burnt meal.
  10.  
  11.                     SISKO
  12.             Kas -- what happened?
  13.  
  14.                     KASIDY 
  15.             That's what I'm trying to figure
  16.             out.
  17.  
  18.  
  19.     Sisko steps in and quickly turns off the stove, 
  20.     frantically removing the smoking pots and pans. 
  21.     Once he has the situation under control --
  22.  
  23.                     SISKO
  24.             What're you doing? You don't 
  25.             cook!
  26.  
  27.                     KASIDY
  28.             I know...
  29.                 (more to herself) 
  30.             I was just making sure.
  31.  
  32.     Sisko nods; this is the last thing he needed. On 
  33.     one hand, he knows that in the greater scheme of 
  34.     things, a ruined pan is nothing to get upset 
  35.     about... nonetheless, he's not a happy man. And his 
  36.     mood sours further as a burnt, blackened mess in one 
  37.     of the pans catches his eye --
  38.  
  39.                     SISKO
  40.             My peppers?
  41.  
  42.     Sisko picks up the remnants of a fresh pepper from 
  43.     out of the pan.
  44.  
  45.                     KASIDY 
  46.             I know how much you like roasted 
  47.             peppers in your casserole.
  48.  
  49.                     SISKO
  50.                 (he can't believe it) 
  51.             It took me three months to grow 
  52.             them.
  53.  
  54.     But Sisko is actually more bewildered than angry.
  55.  
  56.                     SISKO
  57.                 (still can't believe 
  58.                 it) 
  59.             No one touches my peppers.
  60.
