  4. 61   EXT. PLANET'S SURFACE - NIGHT

  6.     Worf and Ezri have set up camp. We see a FIREPIT,
  7.     and various camping UTENSILS and SUPPLIES from the
  8.     backpacks they brought down.
  9.  
  10.     Ezri is using some TOOLS to work on the innards of a
  11.     TRICORDER -- she's trying to hook her COMBADGE to it
  12.     in order to make a com-unit.
  13.  
  14.     Suddenly the SOUND of something moving in the brush.
  15.     Ezri quickly grabs her PHASER, stands at the ready.
  16.  
  17.     A moment, then Worf traipses out of the foliage, a
  18.     dead wolf-like ANIMAL slung across his shoulders.
  19.  
  20. 61A  WORF
  21.  
  22.     His hair down, his eyes alive with the thrill of the
  23.     hunt. He looks magnificent.
  24.  
  25. 61B  EZRI
  26.  
  27.     as she reacts to the sight of him. A beat, then she
  28.     tries to shake the unexpected surge of emotion his
  29.     appearance has elicited in her.
  30.  
  31.     Worf slings the carcass to the ground near the fire
  32.     pit.
  33.  
  34.                     WORF
  35.             Dinner.
  36.  
  37.     He looks to Ezri, expecting her to be pleased, but
  38.     the sight of the dead animal fills her with pity.
  39.  
  40.                     EZRI
  41.             Why'd you have to kill a
  42.             defenseless animal -- we have
  43.             plenty of field-rations.
  44.  
  45.     Worf glares at her.
  46.  
  47.                     WORF
  48.             I have been eating field-rations
  49.             for six days. I am sick of field-
  50.             rations.
