  14.     as a spacefaring LIFEFORM rapidly approaches. Its
  15.     body is smooth and cylindrical, and it propels
  16.     itself with a pulsating motion. As it "swims"
  17.     alongside the Runabout, we see that it's almost as
  18.     big as the ship.

  20. 4    INT. RUNABOUT (OPTICAL)

  22.     THROUGH THE WINDOW, Odo and O'Brien see the creature
  23.     swimming in front of the runabout.

  25.                     O'BRIEN
  26.             You think it's friendly?

  29.             I hope so.

  31.                     O'BRIEN
  32.             It certainly seems to have taken
  33.             an interest in us.

  35.     Suddenly the creature DROPS BACK OUT OF THEIR SIGHT.
  36.     A beat, then it SLAMS against the side of the
  37.     runabout, JOSTLING them in their seats.

  40.             Uh-oh.
